bye bye shoe

So...
we went out for a walk yesterday to tire out Edee before heading to a drive in movie..( we saw green lantern at the drive in movie) so that she would be asleep. We went up to the ocoee white water center which has a great big bridge that overlooks the river. The river can be raging or a calm trickle depending on how much water they are releasing from the dam. Yesterday it was a fairly calm day. So Edee was walking along the bridge and like all kids liked to stick her feet through the railing and stand on the bottom rung. (she has no fear of heights the crazy kid). And for all of you that are worried it is a nice sturdy railing with really tight holes.. just about big enough only for a tiny foot to slide in and out. So Edee at one point slide her foot in between the railing and off came the shoe... down down down and into the water.. right on top of a slightly submerged rock. Just high enough that it didn't float downstream. So her papa went to see if he could get to it by way of the other rocks.. no luck.. so instead of risking limb and water.. we said bye bye to the 4$ shoe and moved on.. good thing she was just about too big for them.
