Weekend visit

We went down to lovely Jesup for a short weekend visit with Aunt Hannah and Uncle Jason, Mollie and Miles, and (as always) we had a great time in Jesup (but who doesn't?)

We went to the beach during the day on Saturday and Mollie, Jason, Edith, and I all swam around in the ocean and bobbed up and down in the incoming tide. Edith was just overcome with joy, she just loves riding the waves and I finally had to take her out with she got the shakes from low blood sugar at lunch and I (and Uncle Jason) had to promise that we would come back out.

After eating lunch Edith played with Beth and Thomas on the beach for awhile, Beth was quite the angler this weekend as she caught fish on the beach with a sandcastle bucket. When we went back out in waves Edith had a joy ceasure when we saw a rainbow colored sail boat and exclaimed 'I LOVE rainbow colored sail boats!!

We packed it up and went out to Jason's parents house for dinner where we had a feast fit for Gods and Warriors. Beth proceeded to catch more fish out of their catfish pond while the kids played. That night Edith had her first sleep over with Mollie (age 9) and stayed in Mollie's room with no problem what so ever. Didn't even thing about missing mom or papa, went to sleep fine, got up and had cinnamon rolls, went to sunday school and Church before we got to see her again. At Church Edith wore the new dress Beth made for her. Then we had lunch at Sybil's and ate too much, as usual.

Edith loved her visit, and we all had a great time. Thanks to all the Martins for  such a great weekend.
