We went to Chattanooga today for a bit of family fun, and Edee had a really big/good day. We tried as best we could to stack the deck so that Beth didn't have to do that much. First we went to Aquarium where there were so many people Edee didn't even get out of her stroller. So we scraped that and went to Coolidge park to ride the Carousel, and she got to ride 3 times! Then we went to Point Park and she got to run around and pick some flowers.
We climbed steps, ran, climbed all over some Napoleon cannons, and even talked papa into taking her down to one of the signal towers (bit of a climb that one)
At point park we also got a picnic 'treat': part of a kit-kat candy bar which she really enjoyed. While up there we saw trains coming in and out of Chattanooga, and asked to see them. Sooooo we took here to the Chattanooga Choo-Choo and she got to see train cars and climb into and on a steam engine.
To finish off the day we went out for bbq, and then to McKay's books where she got two books to read on the ride home. She was so tired when she got home she didn't fight sleep at all. She got to do some other fun things today, but I will let Beth share that.
