Edith asked me to cuddle with her in her bed, so me being sleepy gladly accepted the invitation.
Edith said as we cuddled: when it is light outside we will play, but it is dark now
Me: yes Edith the sun has gone down and God has turned off the light
Edith: God has turned off the light, Papa is a god
Me: No sweetheart Papa isn't a god.
Edith: God is God
Me: yes dear God is God, and God made the sun and the moon, and the Earth and the heaves, and God made you
Edith: God made me and that made mama and papa very happy!
Me: That is right dear mama and papa were so happy that God gave you to us.
Edith: I was in the dark outside and then God opened the door and it was light
Me: that is a great way to think about it dear
Edith: Then mama got bigger bigger bigger and God carried her
Me: sure (I said this through a bit of a laugh)
Edith: Then I came out of mama to the light and mama and papa were happy
Me: Absolutely
PS that's right God made the heaves (certainly not the Heavens), the dry heaves and the other not so dry heaves
