Our young man is now mobile and just a joy to be around. He is starting to move by army crawling but he will get to whatever he wants pretty darn quick. HE loves his solid food and will just keep eating and eating till you stop feeding him. I have only had him keep his mouth closed once or twice. He just loves it all. Especially if you add applesauce.. so he eats potatoes (and applesauce) Carrots (and applesauce) Sweet potatoes (which he likes alone or with pears) Acorn squash (with applesauce) are you seeing a trend (grin). His favorite "phrase" is Ah Buh, though he started in on Ma Ma Ma and Da Da Da the other day. He does not seem to want to try Ralph (sorry grandpa) but he does giggle if you say it to him.
His sister is also quite the joy. She is starting to get really imaginative. It is fun to spend time with her playing as she now has more thought out actions and scenarios. It does get her in a bit of trouble as she now imagines scary "things" coming down the hall or out of the closet (ect). She is pushing her boundaries a bit but all in all is a great kid. Now if they could both just work on sleeping better at night.
