I do not think it means what you think it means..........

So we have been talking to the kids about patience and how that need to use it. As a family we were driving out to go somewhere, and the kids were demanding food or some such nonsense. When I said to them:
You need to use...........?
Edith responded 'Butter?'
Me: 'Okay fine butter, but I was thinking patience'
I have no one but myself to blame and the whole triangle fraternity.
