OH-tucky

So we all three had a great weekend with friends and family. Friday night was a Glorious Feast fit for Gods and Warriors. A big thanks to the Becksforts for the Moerlein (a fantastic beer company, if you haven't had their beer then you need to.), Queen city mettwurst, and all the other accoutrements. They are wonderful people and it was great of Becks to entertain despite his headache. It was great to see The Becksforts, The Slacks, and The Mike Shell.

Mike was also kind enough to go to 2 Reds-Braves games with me. Both of which the Braves lost (I don't think Mike had a problem with the Reds winning), but GABP is a wonderful place to take in a game. Hopefully we can do it all again in october, but with the Braves winning 2 of 3.

In my small amount of spare time I scraped the paint off chairs that were a dining room set of my Grandmother's so that Jerry can refinish them and stain them. They are coming along slowly as my mother coated them in paint, lacquer, and Lord know what else, but we are getting there in large part to Jerry and the work he has done with them.

If we got to see you in Cincinnati then I am glad, if we didn't get to see you in Cincinnati then I am sorry and can only leave you with this quote from my lovely wife: "The only way you could take down a Ninja is with a bunch of tiny little Ninjas"
