We had a fun family day planned for Edith today. We started out with a small Easter Egg hunt in our messy playroom. Edith enjoyed finding all of the eggs and finding the stickers and some gummy fruit snacks hidden inside. Part way through the hunt we found out there were stickers and we got waylaid for a bit but eventually finished off the search.
We then made cookies for Mom's morning out tomorrow ( a shout out to Ang for the tasty sugar cookie recipe)and ate lunch and took a nap (both Edee and Mama)After our nap we had requested to go fishing the day before so we headed up to a friends lakehouse to see if the fish were willing to "visit". Edee really enjoyed being down by the water and fishing even if her attention span was only 15min.
Edee-"Here fishy fishy...Fishes not in the water"
Papa- (laughing) "there's no fish in the water?"
Mama- "Here fishy fishy fishy.. do you think that the fish are all gone?"
Edee-- "all gone .. we missed them"
Papa responded
Edee-- ride two in the boat.

We also enjoyed the doll house that was up at the lakehouse. Lucky for this little girl. Our great friend Jackie is going to let her borrow it long term. She is going to love having the doll house to play with. You should see her intense concentration when she is playing with it. I think it is going to be a great help when Thomas comes as she will have something fun to play with. We had a picnic dinner and headed home.

I'd like to make a late middle name tie breaker vote for Fredrick. It's about time we had another Fredrick in the family named.
