Christmas and New years

Christmas was an adventure this year. We had Christmas at home with the children opening up their presents and a quiet morning with sweet rolls and oranges.  We then headed up to Ohio on the 27th (the weather on the 26th was awful) with two terrible travel buddies but what can you expect from a eight month old and a almost three year old.  We arrived in Waynesville to 6+ inches of snow. Edith LOVED it.. Thomas not so much which is why there are no pictures of T in the snow.  We made a snowlady (or schneefrau) and Grandpa and Uncle mike outfitted a round plastic sled with a pulling handle.. Edith loved being pulled around and she was carted around the whole back yard like a cold Cleopatra.  There might have also been one or two snow fights.  The trip ended with a great visit with the Becksforts for new years eve with Edith's first sleepover. Thomas wanted to bring in the new year so he woke up for the dropping of the ball. I am sad we didn't get a picture(he also really wanted to try the champagne). The we headed back home to recover. Enjoy a few pictures of the fun.
