Odin lost his eye b/c he was climbing on furniture

Edith was 'reading' my books today, and grabbed a book that Jason had given me on Viking history (which was an excellent choice by the way on both her part and Jason's). Edith was looking through the pictures and came to a picture of Odin and asked who he was and what was wrong with his face. I told her it was Odin and he only has one eye. 'one eye?' she asked, yes dear Odin lost an eye. How did you lose his eye. I racked my brain and then decided to use this one to my advantage and told her that Odin lost an eye from climbing on the furniture, my darling daughter, of course, believed me. Bless her. In true Viking progression we then looked through the pictures and picture of Jesus began appearing and we talked about how Vikings became Christians which prompted a 'Vikings are Christians like we are Christians' from Edith.
