So every monday and wed. afternoon Edee Ann and I have daddy-daughter time for a few hours while Beth teaches biochem lab. today Edee really loved two 'toys' in particular pictured above. one is a shaker egg you can get at a music store for a couple dollars, and Edee loves to bang it around and make noise. The other was the lid to our dutch oven, I guess she liked (or at least was intrigued by) the texture of the cast iron. However, what she really liked best was to beat the lid with her hand (that's right my 7 month old daughter punches iron for fun, what does your wussy-assed kid do?) I think she also liked the ringing sound it made when she hit it (as opposed to the crunching sound from when she punches bone). So daddy-daughter time was a success today: we laughed, we bounced, we punched, we pooped. hope all is well with y'all - -Shüg UPDATE:
P.S. - The big news for today: just after Beth got home Edee sat up by herself for the first time today, ya Edee!
